Leon Batagelj
|
Leon Batagelj is advisor to Adriatic Fund.
Leon has six and a half years of private equity experience with Poteza Adriatic Fund, of which the last two and a half as managing director, with overall responsibility for monitoring portfolio companies and development and execution of exit strategy. Prior to his appointment, Leon was responsible for two portfolio companies of the Fund and had overall responsibility for completion of transactions. Before joining the team of Poteza Adriatic Fund, he was four years advising clients in the mergers and acquisition field across the region of South East Europe. His engagements included acquisition of a bank in Bosnia, reorganization and privatization of chemical conglomerate in Serbia, and execution of take-over bid for a bank in Slovenia. Leon graduated in law from University of Ljubljana and holds LL.M. degrees from Central European University and McGill University.

Gregor Dolenec is advisor to Adriatic Fund.
Gregor has seven years of private equity experience working with Poteza Adriatic Fund. Since 2008 he acted as Investment Director responsible for managing deal pipeline, analysis, valuation, acquisitions, management of portfolio companies and fund administration. Prior to 2008, he was a member of the investment team with specific responsibilioty of analysis and valuation. Prior to joining team of Poteza Adriatic Fund, he was involved in Iskraemeco, where he was in charge for associated companies. Gregor is a graduate of Faculty of Economics of University of Ljubljana and holds MSc in Finance from University of Ljubljana. He is a CFA charterholder.

Grega Kukec
|
Grega Kukec is advisor to Adriatic Fund.
Grega has four years of private equity experience with Poteza Adriatic Fund of which the last two years as investment director responsible for overlooking operations and performance of portfolio companies and setting their strategies. Prior to his appointment, he acted as advisor to two portfolio companies of the fund. Prior to joining Poteza, Grega was involved with Avtotehna Group, where as Executive Director, he successfully oversaw the acquisition and merger of nine domestic IT companies that today represent the IT division of Avtotehna. From 1994 to 2003 he was working with Microsoft, holding several executive positions, including General Manager of the Slovenian Microsoft’s subsidiary, Channel Marketing Manager for Microsoft’s Eastern Europe and Marketing Manager for Microsoft’s Adriatic region. Grega has graduated from University of Ljubljana and holds MBA from IEDC Bled.
